Since 1955 the Willard Church of God has served the Willard area by sharing the gospel of Jesus Christ. Willard Church of God is a place you can call home. We are a body of believers that love Jesus and the local community. We are a church that is grounded in the Word of God and stand on his truth.

Did you know that you can have a relationship with your creator? The Bible is God's holy word. It is a guide for our daily lives and the greatest love story ever told. Romans 10:17 says that "Faith comes by hearing and hearing by the word of God" and Psalms 119:105 says "Your word is a lamp to my feet and a light to my path." God wants to have a personal relationship with you. He desires to give you hope and a future. Take the first step in your walk with God. He is waiting with arms stretched and He has a plan for your life.

We offer a variety of outreach programs to engage people of all ages. We have a nursery, children's church, youth group, senior connect, fitness classes, bible studies, a food pantry, and various outreach events throughout the year. There is a place for you here!

Bishop Gregory Griffith

Senior Pastor

Bishop Gregory Griffith is a gifted speaker and Pastor. For 35 years Pastor Griffith has served in many ministry positions. Since 2002, he has led the flock of the Willard Church of God. Pastor Griffith is a father of two boys and has been happily married to our First Lady, Monica "Rene" Griffth since 1982. Pastor Griffith brings an extensive background of bible knowledge but more importantly a burden for the families of the Willard Area.

Rev. Richard and Rhonda Holbrook

Associate Pastors

Rev. Richard and Rhonda Holbrook have been married for 39 years and have three children. They have held numerous positions in the church from childrens church leaders, elders, youth pastors, and ordained ministers. Rhonda is very unapologetically pro-life. She also serves on the board for Abigail Pregnancy Center for seven years.

Rev. Austin and Heather Gearheart

Executive Pastor

Austin Gearheart is the Outreach Pastor at the Willard Church of God. He has been married to Heather for 13 years. He is an elementary school teacher and Heather works remotely as process architect for a national hospital system. They have been serving the Lord for over 20 years and have been in ministry for 9 years. They have two children, Greyson and Asher and two goldendoodles, Rhett and Paisley.

Chad and Erin Poston

Youth Pastors

Chad & Erin Poston are the leaders of The Movement Youth Group. Chad and Erin have been married for 25 years and are blessed with 4 kids and 2 grandkids. Chad retired from the Air Force and is the currently working as the head of IT at Pepperidge Farm. Erin, has volunteered her time in Children’s ministries since she was in Jr High. She is the former Co-Director at the Willard Hope Center, and currently sits on the board of the Hope Center and HopeFest.

Rev. Ben and Vonda Patrick

Food Pantry Coordinators

Reverend Ben and Vonda Patrick are the coordinators for The Blessing Basket Food Pantry. They have been married for 50 years and were devoted pastors for 17 years before retiring. The food pantry is open the first and third Saturday's of the month. Emergency food deliveries are avalible upon request. Visit the food pantry page for more information.

Lori Hall

Church Secretary

Lori has been married to Brian for 35 years. They have a daughter, Jordan. Brian is part of the church praise team and Lori serves as the church secretary.
